Until God ordains otherwise, a man ought to bear patiently whatever he cannot correct in himself and in others. Imitation of Christ by John Kempis

Heal our HARDENED Hearts

HEAL OUR HARDENED HEARTS

What causes our hearts to harden?  I have written this blog because I hurt deeply for the wonded in our midst that cannot open to the wonderful love of God.  Their wounds are deep from;

Their sexual bounderies broken.

Abusive parents or spouse.

Betrayal of a good friend, spouse or religious.

We all have had hurts.  Some of us close our hearts and say no one will ever hurt me again.  We put up walls and become very angry.  Our hearts become closed and hardened.  Fear is all we know.  Leaving no place for Love, Peace, Joy, Hope or any of the wonderful feelings of the Holy Spirit.  It leaves no room for Jesus in our hearts.  We cannot love or feel loved because we are closed.  Jesus said , I knock at the door,  all we have to do is open it to have joy.  God is always trying to make it better and we cannot even see it.  We are blinded by anger.  God is making an effort to help, hoping that we open our hearts.  We cannot bring ourselves to trust in his merciful love for us.  We missed the fact that He gave his son to die for our sins.  We just expect the worst.  Make an effort to give up Bitternes, Anger, Dispare, and all the other fruits of the devil that you use to feeling daily.  Surrender to God and repent and turn around and recieve all the good God has waiting for you.

Spend silent time with God alone to worship and listen to his word.

All your HEART

No hardened heart but a open heart that nurtures without reservation.  Total giving of attention, time, and understanding.  Searching only for God alone.

All your MIND

Renew our mind with positive thinking.  Work hard on breaking old habits of negative thinking. Ignoring your imagination and trusting the word of God in making good judgements.  Looking at the fruits of the Holy Spirit to be your attitude.

All your STRENGTH

Never give up on good.  It takes lots of strength to Love God at all times.  Turning to God and trusting in His Powerful protection, will give you all the strength you need.

Christian Friendship #2

CHRISTIAN FRIENDSHIP, .

MARCH 7, 2018 PROPHESY

Give me your all.  Everything is going to fall into place.  Now is a time of healing.  Now is the time to repent!  I understand and will listen.  Now is the time of healing.  Unite with all.  Help all.  EWnjoy everyones different for a purpose.  His purpose.  Do not criticize or judge.  Trust!  Give me your all.  Hope in all things.  God works all things out for good for those who love him.  Tell everyone about God’s unconditional love for them.  Pray for world peace.  I am coming soon

CHRISTIAN FRIENDSHIP

some of the things that harm our friendships is our lack of understanding of a persons situation.  We are all different.  We have been raised with rules of our family and we have a hard time accepting other points of view.  God rejoices in how he made us all different.  We are here to complete a job he has planned for our lives.  We must pray to see others and our uniqueness and figure out God’s plan for us in our world.

Christian Friendships must be formed through prayer for one another.  We must pray for every aspect of our lives, our families, our work, our church, finances and every other petition that we share with each other.  This forms a relationship with God at the center.

1 Corinthians 1: 10

I urge you, brothers in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, and that you be united in The same mind and in the same purpose.  And that htere be no divisions amoung you.

There is no place for Gossip, comparison, competition, jealousy or any other scheme of the devil to destroy the friendship.

When in the process of forming a friendship; BE PATIENT

REMEMBER TO KEEP FRIENDSHIP AT THE LEVEL THE OTHER PERSON WANTS .  TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THEM AND BE KIND SENSITIVE AND GENEROUS.  ALL HAVE TO CARRY CROSSES.

BE SENSITIVE, REMEMBER THAT PEOPLE DO NOT SHARE THEIR CROSSES.

THEIR PAIN WITH A SPOUSE BEING UNFAITHFUL

CHILDREN THAT ARE NOT LIVING AS THEY SHOULD.

FINANCIAL PROBLEMS

FAMILY REJECTION

FAILURES OF ALL TYPES

THEIR SEXUAL BOUNDARIES BEING BROKEN

THEIR TERRIBLE SINS

REMEMBER YOU CANNOT SEE ANYONES CROSSES

SO BE KIND AND PATIENT.

It is good to keep all this in mind when the person has a bad temper or is not having a good day.  We must be forgiving and not judgemental.  The flesh and the tongue ruins many friendships.

JEALOUSY  in the scripture below Joseph was a favorite of his father and his brothers were jealous.  He has dreams and was excited to share with his brothers.  They were so jealous that they almost killed him.  How sad how jealousy ruins family live and Church communities.

Genesis 38: 5-36

This is the story of the family of Jacob.* When Joseph was seventeen years old, he was tending the flocks with his brothers; he was an assistant to the sons of his father’s wives Bilhah and Zilpah, and Joseph brought their father bad reports about them.

3

Israel loved Joseph best of all his sons, for he was the child of his old age; and he had made him a long ornamented tunic.*

4

When his brothers saw that their father loved him best of all his brothers, they hated him so much that they could not say a kind word to him.

5

* Once Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers, they hated him even more.a

6

He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had.

7

There we were, binding sheaves in the field, when suddenly my sheaf rose to an upright position, and your sheaves formed a ring around my sheaf and bowed down to it.”

8

His brothers said to him, “Are you really going to make yourself king over us? Will you rule over us?” So they hated him all the more because of his dreams and his reports.b

9

Then he had another dream, and told it to his brothers. “Look, I had another dream,” he said; “this time, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

10

When he told it to his father and his brothers, his father reproved him and asked, “What is the meaning of this dream of yours? Can it be that I and your mother and your brothers are to come and bow to the ground before you?”

11

So his brothers were furious at him but his father kept the matter in mind.

12

One day, when his brothers had gone to pasture their father’s flocks at Shechem,

13

Israel said to Joseph, “Are your brothers not tending our flocks at Shechem? Come and I will send you to them.” “I am ready,” Joseph answered.

14

“Go then,” he replied; “see if all is well with your brothers and the flocks, and bring back word.” So he sent him off from the valley of Hebron. When Joseph reached Shechem,

15

a man came upon him as he was wandering about in the fields. “What are you looking for?” the man asked him.

16

“I am looking for my brothers,” he answered. “Please tell me where they are tending the flocks.”

17

The man told him, “They have moved on from here; in fact, I heard them say, ‘Let us go on to Dothan.’” So Joseph went after his brothers and found them in Dothan.

18

They saw him from a distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.

19

They said to one another: “Here comes that dreamer!

20

Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the cisterns here; we could say that a wild beast devoured him. We will see then what comes of his dreams.”c

21

* But when Reuben heard this, he tried to save him from their hands, saying: “We must not take his life.”

22

Then Reuben said, “Do not shed blood! Throw him into this cistern in the wilderness; but do not lay a hand on him.” His purpose was to save him from their hands and restore him to his father.d

23

So when Joseph came up to his brothers, they stripped him of his tunic, the long ornamented tunic he had on;

24

then they took him and threw him into the cistern. The cistern was empty; there was no water in it.

25

Then they sat down to eat. Looking up, they saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead, their camels laden with gum, balm, and resin to be taken down to Egypt.e

26

Judah said to his brothers: “What is to be gained by killing our brother and concealing his blood?f

27

Come, let us sell him to these Ishmaelites, instead of doing away with him ourselves. After all, he is our brother, our own flesh.” His brothers agreed.

28

Midianite traders passed by, and they pulled Joseph up out of the cistern. They sold Joseph for twenty pieces of silver* to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt.g

29

When Reuben went back to the cistern and saw that Joseph was not in it, he tore his garments,*

30

and returning to his brothers, he exclaimed: “The boy is gone! And I—where can I turn?”

31

They took Joseph’s tunic, and after slaughtering a goat, dipped the tunic in its blood.

32

Then they sent someone to bring the long ornamented tunic to their father, with the message: “We found this. See whether it is your son’s tunic or not.”

33

He recognized it and exclaimed: “My son’s tunic! A wild beast has devoured him! Joseph has been torn to pieces!”h

34

Then Jacob tore his garments, put sackcloth on his loins, and mourned his son many days.

35

Though his sons and daughters tried to console him, he refused all consolation, saying, “No, I will go down mourning to my son in Sheol.”* Thus did his father weep for him.i

36

The Midianites, meanwhile, sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, an official of Pharaoh and his chief steward.

WOUNDED CHARISMATIC’S CHRISTIANS IN THE CHURCH

GetAttachment-3.aspx

Acts 2

The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, [b] 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

The scripture is very clear on how the Apostles increased in number and filled the church all over the world. It was by being full of the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. There were miracles, healings, prophecy, words of knowledge to guide there followers. Speaking in tongues was accepted as by all.

Isaiah 55: 7-8

7 Let the wicked forsake their way,

and sinners their thoughts;

Let them turn to the LORD to find mercy;

to our God, who is generous in forgiving.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

nor are your ways my ways

Gods Spirit is not normal it is the real truth. It is not church traditions, and cannot be put into a box. It will cause controversy and stir communication and change. Wonder if the Apostles would ever have guessed that the church, they started would loose so much touch with God’s Holy Spirit. Also persecute the Spirit filled and treat them as the Jewish leaders did Jesus.

In the 1970’s there was a move of the Holy Spirit that touched many Christians of all religions. It was a time of real confusion on the role of women, church teaching, morality, and real rebellion to any traditions in our country. The media played a role in selling every manner of evil in movies and T.V. Our church leaders were fearful to speak against anything, for fear of upsetting anyone with the truth. So God poured out his Holy Spirit on a select few of the church. Many church leaders were fearful and refused to accept it as a move of God. All religions spoke against speaking in tongues and other manifestations of the Holy Spirit. It was the same persecutions as in the time of Jesus.

Charismatics were left with searching out teachings from any religion that talked about the Holy Spirits fruits and manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Since all religions think they are the only truth, much confusion and strife was stirred by pointing out the flaws of certain religious traditions.   Many Charismatics became arrogant and defensive trying to be heard and understood and not ridiculed. They received abusive comments or were ignored completely.   Some just left religion totally saying they did not need organized religion.

The Spirit Filled (Charismatic) were feared by many and left without shepherds to guide and teach them. They were left to learning from anywhere that claimed to be knowledgeable and were accepting of them.   Some Pastors said that all Charismatics were crazy and so the clergy sent the mentally ill into their prayer meetings. These church leaders would say if it is from God it will last. What a cop out!!!!   Making fun and mocking the Charismatics and avoiding the Spirit Filled person was commonplace. Do any of these Pastors feel the loss of Charismatics in their churches now? Everyone struggles and prayes for acceptance. No one likes to be treated like they do not exist or that they are evil. Why did these church leaders allow the Life in the Spirit Seminars if they did not want Spirit Filled Christians in their churches? Were they confused too? What ever their reasons, it wounded many.

There were Charismatic retreats and Charismatic conferences that had teachings, consolation and healing. However when they went back to their churches, they received the same attitude and abusive treatment.

As the years went by the conferences went from 5000 to 500. There were no more prayer meetings in the churches to be found. The remnant now has a hard time finding Spirit Filled Fellowship. One person was told they were not allowed to speak in tongues at a life in the spirit seminar. How can these Pastors make such rules and call themselves Christians?

The Conferences now are few and 300 or less attend, mostly senior citizens. Where are the young? Why have Church leaders regarded this move of Holy Spirit so terrible? Don’t they see what has happened to this world by such overwhelming evil? Why would anyone want to get rid of the move of the Holy Spirit out of fear?

The remnant left now does not upset any church leaders and walks in constant fear of offending the powerful pastor. The Holy Spirit does not go where it is not wanted and therefore no fruits of the Holy Spirit are present.

Charismatics should have been thankful for those who made them humble instead of leaving the church. It should never be forgotten that Jesus was envied and crucified for radical thoughts of loving others. It is hard to understand jealous Christian leaders but obedience is the core of holiness. We must all pray for good attitudes and humble responses to religious cruelty. Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

First John 3:17 “But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?”

Titus 2:7-8 “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.”

Wounded Teachers

Did you know that most teachers get up at 5:30 am to get ready for their day of teaching? Yes a teacher does not have a 9 to 5 job. The good teacher plans an additional 4 hours approximately after work, because they have no time during the day. They probably make about 12.00 an hour once you round up the total hours spent daily. They do have a lunch break but usually it is spent with the students. In addition to that, they have playground duty, bus duty (rain or shine), science fairs, parent conferences, PTA, teacher meetings, and on and on. A really good teacher has to deal with jealous colleagues and a principles scrutiny.   You will not hear them complain because they have such a love for their students.

In the classroom, a teacher teaches much more than the subject. They help children get emotionally and intellectually prepared for life. Their communication skills have to be excellent for the student to understand. This must be done in a fun and engaging way. Some teachers have supplies, shoes, and clothes, purchased by the teacher for needy students, who cannot afford these things.

A teacher has to be excellent in time management and control-misbehaved children like a referee and coach. Be ready to talk to angry parents, who think they know more than the teacher and mediate the truth like a therapist about their unruly child. Then take the disrespect and criticism that they probably could not do a real job, so they went into teaching. “ Those who can do, do; those who can’t teach.” Just some of the remarks that are dished out without thought.

The students are another story. They think they can lie to their parents and get away with poor work and behavior. Why would a parent think that the teacher wants a student to fail and disrupt the class?

We all need to get more understanding of the time and work that a good teacher does to prepare our youth for a better tomorrow. Stop listening to the 1% about Bad teacher publicity and support the 99% of teachers that are giving their all to make this a better place for us all.

Luke 2:51 He went down with them and came to Nazareth, an was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.

ImageProxy.mvc Wounded Mothers

Luke 2:35  yea and a sword shall pierce through thine own soul; that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed.   Even the Mother of Jesus suffered the pains of motherhood.  Being filled with the Holy Spirit the fruits of the Holy Spirit was her only consolation.

Wounded Mothers

Luke 2: 51

He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.

Mothers are the backbone of society. Our society puts little importance to motherhood. The media says career, education, success is more important than motherhood.

So many mothers are expected to raise children while, working, cooking, cleaning, gardening, shopping, keeping fit, shopping, getting groceries, teaching, nursing, listening, religious instructor, keeping up with latest current events, looking great, plus being a good wife, and any other services needed. The most challenging is to raise children when seriously ill. In good health or when sick it is difficult to keep up with the job.

When a mother is abandoned by her husband, her cross is doubled. The media encourages spouses to leave if they are not happy. They are not told how much work they are taking on and how it hurts the children. Mothering is not a job for one person. Happiness can change especially if theirs a spouse change.

Motherhood is a thankless job if her family is ungrateful for her hard work.   Such ungrateful behavior causes her heart deep wounds. When anything terrible happens to her child, she feels like a complete failure, even if it is not her fault. If that is not enough, someone will surely reassure her of her failings.

A mother who has lost a child, cannot be consoled. There is a peace missing and nothing can replace it. She mourns her whole life.

Mothers whose children have been in jail, done drugs, committed suicide, done any unspeakable actions are in great pain. No one can comfort them.

Tobiah 4: 3 – 6 So he called his son Tobiah; and when he came, he said to him:* “Son, when I die, give me a decent burial. Honor your mother, and do not abandon her as long as she lives. Do whatever pleases her, and do not grieve her spirit in any way.a

Remember, son, how she went through many dangers for you while you were in her womb. When she dies, bury her in the same grave with me.

“Through all your days, son, keep the Lord in mind, and do not seek to sin or to transgress the commandments. Perform righteous deeds all the days of your life, and do not tread the paths of wickedness.

For those who act with fidelity, all who practice righteousness, will prosper in their affairs.*”

We have all hurt our mothers.  We have not called her, ignored her, were constantly ashamed of her and made her cry.  In our arrogance, when we got older, we made fun of her and mocked her opinions.

It is time we begin to honor our mothers as the scripture says.

Deuteronomy 5: 15

“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Proverbs 20:20

If someone curses their father or mother, their lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.

Exodus 20:12

“Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

So the next time you see the media talking to someone 100 years old asking them what did you do to live this long you will know the answer ” I honored my father and mother.

John 1: 11 he came to what was his own but his own people did not accept him.

11037332_965943036749094_7973630279563650042_n

It is terrible when you are not accepted. It causes you to doubt yourself for awhile and feel deeply hurt.  it is the feeling like when you are new somewhere and no one talks to you.  You feel invisible and completely not accepted.  Jesus was not accepted because he did not have status.  All the gossip about him being illegitimate must have been upsetting.  He was just a carpenter.  Somehow the goodness and wisdom he showed was not enough for acceptance. Religious jealousy added to the fuel of the religious leaders, who were looking for something to condemn Jesus.   Jesus presence stirred their fear,  because they were too comfortable in their laws, and they could not be open to the love Jesus was teaching.  They did not want to be made uncomfortable to a new loving way of thinking.  Do we judge people because of their beliefs or because they are from the South and you are from the North ?  Maybe it is because they are a Woman and you are a Man. Do you find yourself not accepting someone who has a lot of goodness and stands up for what is Godly?  It is so sad the things that cause us to completely close ourselves to Love.

John 1: 12  But those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name.

So the next time you don’t feel accepted, remember that you are a child of a God and you will never be alone.  You are beautifully and wonderfully made by God.  All you must do is accept Jesus and believe in his name.
