Until God ordains otherwise, a man ought to bear patiently whatever he cannot correct in himself and in others. Imitation of Christ by John Kempis

Heal our HARDENED Hearts

HEAL OUR HARDENED HEARTS

What causes our hearts to harden?  I have written this blog because I hurt deeply for the wonded in our midst that cannot open to the wonderful love of God.  Their wounds are deep from;

Their sexual bounderies broken.

Abusive parents or spouse.

Betrayal of a good friend, spouse or religious.

We all have had hurts.  Some of us close our hearts and say no one will ever hurt me again.  We put up walls and become very angry.  Our hearts become closed and hardened.  Fear is all we know.  Leaving no place for Love, Peace, Joy, Hope or any of the wonderful feelings of the Holy Spirit.  It leaves no room for Jesus in our hearts.  We cannot love or feel loved because we are closed.  Jesus said , I knock at the door,  all we have to do is open it to have joy.  God is always trying to make it better and we cannot even see it.  We are blinded by anger.  God is making an effort to help, hoping that we open our hearts.  We cannot bring ourselves to trust in his merciful love for us.  We missed the fact that He gave his son to die for our sins.  We just expect the worst.  Make an effort to give up Bitternes, Anger, Dispare, and all the other fruits of the devil that you use to feeling daily.  Surrender to God and repent and turn around and recieve all the good God has waiting for you.

Spend silent time with God alone to worship and listen to his word.

All your HEART

No hardened heart but a open heart that nurtures without reservation.  Total giving of attention, time, and understanding.  Searching only for God alone.

All your MIND

Renew our mind with positive thinking.  Work hard on breaking old habits of negative thinking. Ignoring your imagination and trusting the word of God in making good judgements.  Looking at the fruits of the Holy Spirit to be your attitude.

All your STRENGTH

Never give up on good.  It takes lots of strength to Love God at all times.  Turning to God and trusting in His Powerful protection, will give you all the strength you need.

Christian Friendship #2

CHRISTIAN FRIENDSHIP, .

MARCH 7, 2018 PROPHESY

Give me your all.  Everything is going to fall into place.  Now is a time of healing.  Now is the time to repent!  I understand and will listen.  Now is the time of healing.  Unite with all.  Help all.  EWnjoy everyones different for a purpose.  His purpose.  Do not criticize or judge.  Trust!  Give me your all.  Hope in all things.  God works all things out for good for those who love him.  Tell everyone about God’s unconditional love for them.  Pray for world peace.  I am coming soon

CHRISTIAN FRIENDSHIP

some of the things that harm our friendships is our lack of understanding of a persons situation.  We are all different.  We have been raised with rules of our family and we have a hard time accepting other points of view.  God rejoices in how he made us all different.  We are here to complete a job he has planned for our lives.  We must pray to see others and our uniqueness and figure out God’s plan for us in our world.

Christian Friendships must be formed through prayer for one another.  We must pray for every aspect of our lives, our families, our work, our church, finances and every other petition that we share with each other.  This forms a relationship with God at the center.

1 Corinthians 1: 10

I urge you, brothers in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, and that you be united in The same mind and in the same purpose.  And that htere be no divisions amoung you.

There is no place for Gossip, comparison, competition, jealousy or any other scheme of the devil to destroy the friendship.

When in the process of forming a friendship; BE PATIENT

REMEMBER TO KEEP FRIENDSHIP AT THE LEVEL THE OTHER PERSON WANTS .  TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THEM AND BE KIND SENSITIVE AND GENEROUS.  ALL HAVE TO CARRY CROSSES.

BE SENSITIVE, REMEMBER THAT PEOPLE DO NOT SHARE THEIR CROSSES.

THEIR PAIN WITH A SPOUSE BEING UNFAITHFUL

CHILDREN THAT ARE NOT LIVING AS THEY SHOULD.

FINANCIAL PROBLEMS

FAMILY REJECTION

FAILURES OF ALL TYPES

THEIR SEXUAL BOUNDARIES BEING BROKEN

THEIR TERRIBLE SINS

REMEMBER YOU CANNOT SEE ANYONES CROSSES

SO BE KIND AND PATIENT.

It is good to keep all this in mind when the person has a bad temper or is not having a good day.  We must be forgiving and not judgemental.  The flesh and the tongue ruins many friendships.

JEALOUSY  in the scripture below Joseph was a favorite of his father and his brothers were jealous.  He has dreams and was excited to share with his brothers.  They were so jealous that they almost killed him.  How sad how jealousy ruins family live and Church communities.

Genesis 38: 5-36

This is the story of the family of Jacob.* When Joseph was seventeen years old, he was tending the flocks with his brothers; he was an assistant to the sons of his father’s wives Bilhah and Zilpah, and Joseph brought their father bad reports about them.

3

Israel loved Joseph best of all his sons, for he was the child of his old age; and he had made him a long ornamented tunic.*

4

When his brothers saw that their father loved him best of all his brothers, they hated him so much that they could not say a kind word to him.

5

* Once Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers, they hated him even more.a

6

He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had.

7

There we were, binding sheaves in the field, when suddenly my sheaf rose to an upright position, and your sheaves formed a ring around my sheaf and bowed down to it.”

8

His brothers said to him, “Are you really going to make yourself king over us? Will you rule over us?” So they hated him all the more because of his dreams and his reports.b

9

Then he had another dream, and told it to his brothers. “Look, I had another dream,” he said; “this time, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

10

When he told it to his father and his brothers, his father reproved him and asked, “What is the meaning of this dream of yours? Can it be that I and your mother and your brothers are to come and bow to the ground before you?”

11

So his brothers were furious at him but his father kept the matter in mind.

12

One day, when his brothers had gone to pasture their father’s flocks at Shechem,

13

Israel said to Joseph, “Are your brothers not tending our flocks at Shechem? Come and I will send you to them.” “I am ready,” Joseph answered.

14

“Go then,” he replied; “see if all is well with your brothers and the flocks, and bring back word.” So he sent him off from the valley of Hebron. When Joseph reached Shechem,

15

a man came upon him as he was wandering about in the fields. “What are you looking for?” the man asked him.

16

“I am looking for my brothers,” he answered. “Please tell me where they are tending the flocks.”

17

The man told him, “They have moved on from here; in fact, I heard them say, ‘Let us go on to Dothan.’” So Joseph went after his brothers and found them in Dothan.

18

They saw him from a distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.

19

They said to one another: “Here comes that dreamer!

20

Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the cisterns here; we could say that a wild beast devoured him. We will see then what comes of his dreams.”c

21

* But when Reuben heard this, he tried to save him from their hands, saying: “We must not take his life.”

22

Then Reuben said, “Do not shed blood! Throw him into this cistern in the wilderness; but do not lay a hand on him.” His purpose was to save him from their hands and restore him to his father.d

23

So when Joseph came up to his brothers, they stripped him of his tunic, the long ornamented tunic he had on;

24

then they took him and threw him into the cistern. The cistern was empty; there was no water in it.

25

Then they sat down to eat. Looking up, they saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead, their camels laden with gum, balm, and resin to be taken down to Egypt.e

26

Judah said to his brothers: “What is to be gained by killing our brother and concealing his blood?f

27

Come, let us sell him to these Ishmaelites, instead of doing away with him ourselves. After all, he is our brother, our own flesh.” His brothers agreed.

28

Midianite traders passed by, and they pulled Joseph up out of the cistern. They sold Joseph for twenty pieces of silver* to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt.g

29

When Reuben went back to the cistern and saw that Joseph was not in it, he tore his garments,*

30

and returning to his brothers, he exclaimed: “The boy is gone! And I—where can I turn?”

31

They took Joseph’s tunic, and after slaughtering a goat, dipped the tunic in its blood.

32

Then they sent someone to bring the long ornamented tunic to their father, with the message: “We found this. See whether it is your son’s tunic or not.”

33

He recognized it and exclaimed: “My son’s tunic! A wild beast has devoured him! Joseph has been torn to pieces!”h

34

Then Jacob tore his garments, put sackcloth on his loins, and mourned his son many days.

35

Though his sons and daughters tried to console him, he refused all consolation, saying, “No, I will go down mourning to my son in Sheol.”* Thus did his father weep for him.i

36

The Midianites, meanwhile, sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, an official of Pharaoh and his chief steward.

John 1: 11 he came to what was his own but his own people did not accept him.

11037332_965943036749094_7973630279563650042_n

It is terrible when you are not accepted. It causes you to doubt yourself for awhile and feel deeply hurt.  it is the feeling like when you are new somewhere and no one talks to you.  You feel invisible and completely not accepted.  Jesus was not accepted because he did not have status.  All the gossip about him being illegitimate must have been upsetting.  He was just a carpenter.  Somehow the goodness and wisdom he showed was not enough for acceptance. Religious jealousy added to the fuel of the religious leaders, who were looking for something to condemn Jesus.   Jesus presence stirred their fear,  because they were too comfortable in their laws, and they could not be open to the love Jesus was teaching.  They did not want to be made uncomfortable to a new loving way of thinking.  Do we judge people because of their beliefs or because they are from the South and you are from the North ?  Maybe it is because they are a Woman and you are a Man. Do you find yourself not accepting someone who has a lot of goodness and stands up for what is Godly?  It is so sad the things that cause us to completely close ourselves to Love.

John 1: 12  But those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name.

So the next time you don’t feel accepted, remember that you are a child of a God and you will never be alone.  You are beautifully and wonderfully made by God.  All you must do is accept Jesus and believe in his name.

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Words from our mouths may wound others deeply, into the depths of another persons heart and  may take years to heal.  Sometimes they never heal.  Teachers or parents who belittle a child’s intelligence, by calling them stupid or ignorant can cause them damage for years.  Those who knock another persons religion,  create divisions, and hatred , could cause wars.  Those who make fun of the elderly, special, or handicapped persons by calling them names,  appears to be the rule rather than the exception.

Managing our tongue  requires much  prayer and practice.  We cannot change others from making wicked statements.

James 3:8 ” But no human being can tame the tongue full of deadly poison.”  The stories of teens making fun, mentally and physically torturing them to point of suicide.

Proverbs 8: 21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and who loves it will eat its fruits.”  These suicides cannot be healed, it is too late.  There are so many wounds for a family to grasp, that are confronting our youth today.  My prayers are with them all.

We have so many serious disconnects in our society.  Road Rage for example; Having to make sure you do not offend someone or they will verbally abuse or shoot you.    How did we get this wicked?  Our children feel free to be rude verbally to everyone, demonstrating no respect.  Parents that verbally and physically abuse their children can seriously damage their self image causing lower self esteem.  We all have witnessed it and we all have done it at one time or another.  We find it easier to say mean things than to complement someone else.  Lets encourage one another and praise God for all he has given us.

Matthew 12:36-37 “I tell you on the day of Judgement people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be condemned.”

1 Peter 2: 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king

images

Respect seems to have been lost in our society.  We let old ladies stand while we sit.  We watch while others burn our Flag.  T.V. programs disrespect religion. A recent example of this on House of Cards where Kevin Spacey’s character, spit on a statue of the crucified Jesus.  We take more than our fair share at buffets.  We let our children be rude, unkind and do not discipline them. We leave church early.  We say mean things on the internet to others.   We have become animals who kill to keep from being killed.  It is the weak that seem to get the brunt of the disrespect.  The child in the school is bullied because he does not look great or does not fit in.  Schools do nothing for fear of being sued.  A Downs child filled with so much love and innocence, but looks different,  is a target for abuse of any kind.  Even the servants of God think they are above hurting other’s with disrespect.  They do not realize the big responsibility God has given them. It is not an excuse to speak abusive to believers or non believers or other christians.  This is wickedness.  Servants be submissive to your masters with due Respect. Not only to those who are good and gentle , but also to those who are unreasonable.  Let’s pray that respect becomes politically correct.

How has Christian gossip hurt you?

I am always surprised when Christians compete and gossip about me.  Recently I was gossiped about and it hurt me deeply.  So deeply that I move away on the scripture.  If they do not accept you wipe the dust from your feet and move to the next town.  We were deeply hurt, no one would listen to how we felt.  It was like we were outcasts of friends.  Hopefully you are not thinking that we deserved it.  Because we did not!!!  The message from Pope Francis came out at that time.  His words were very healing for me.  It is obvious he had same problem with gossip.  This website is here to share your hurt with any wound. I hope that I am not the only one that is sharing!!!!!

Pope Francis wrote

” We have as it were of one heart and one soul:  That unity, unanimity and harmony of feelings of love, mutual love, thinking “others are better than me” , and this is lovely isn’t it?”

But this does not happen automatically after Baptism.  It must be brought about within us, “on the journey through life by the Spirit”. “This gentleness is a somewhat forgotten virtue:  being gentle, making room for others.  There are so many enemies of gentleness, aren”t there?  Starting with gossip.  When people prefer to tell tales, to gossip about others, to give others a few blows.  These are daily events that happen to everyone, and to me too”.  “They are temptations of the evil one.”  he continued, “who does not want the Spirit to create this gentleness, in Christian communities.  In the parish the ladies of cathechesis quarrel with the ladies of Caritas”  These conflicts always exist, in the family, in the neighborhood, even among friends.  And this is not new life.  When the Spirit causes us to be born to new life, he makes us gentle and kind, not judgmental:  the only Judge is the Lord”. The proposal to be silent fits in here.  “If I have something to say, let me say it to the individual, not to the entire neighborhood; only to the one who can remedy the situation”.

“This”, Pope Francis concluded, “is only one step. If , with the grace of the Spirit, we succeed in never gossiping, it will be great and beautiful step ahead and will do everyone good.  Let us ask the Lord to show us and th world the beauty and fullness of this new life of being born of the Spirit, of treading each other with kindness, with respect.  Let us ask for this grace for us all.
