June Council is Wife, mother, grandmother speaker and writer; she has 4 children and 1 in heaven. She has 5 grandchildren, a great blessing in her life. June is from the Washington, D.C. area but she has lived in Florida for 40 years. Other places she has lived is New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia.
June has started a Legion of Mary and taught CCD in Christ the King church in Miami.
In Ft. Lauderdale she started a prayer meeting in St. Gregory Catholic Church.
In West Palm Beach Florida she was instrumental in training the leaders in the starting of a prayer meeting in St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, Florida. She is very proud of assisting the school guidance counselor in getting Alateen in the Palm Beach County school system. Which made her the first person allowed to say the Our Father in high school meeting. June and Pat Hollings were up for a Florida State award for saving 15 children from suicide.
In Tampa Florida she started a Bible Study in her home on 9-11 and the women attending all prayed as they watched the Towers come down.
In Ocala Florida June brought, through women meeting to pray, a Magnificat Breakfast to be birthed in the diocese of Orlando. That Magnificat is now forming in Kissimmee and with God’s help will be starting soon. June worked at the Alpha Center for Women, where she counseled women not to abort their babies. The Alpha Center also provided diapers, clothes other needs for them by their earning points studying of God’s word and learning about motherhood and finances. They then could buy with those points what they needed for their babies up to 3 years old.
June now lives in Riverview, Florida for the last 9 months and is working closely with Ellen Mongen in speaking, writing and encouraging women to be like Mary and Elizabeth by being filled with the Holy Spirit. We encourage women to be there for each other and support each other. Just as Mary did Elizabeth when she went to her to care for Elizabeth in her pregnancy. June also does one on one retreats to heal and restore Women leaders in ministry.
In the future She Ellen Mongen and Jane Ann Bonbrake would like to start conferences for inner healing.
