Until God ordains otherwise, a man ought to bear patiently whatever he cannot correct in himself and in others. Imitation of Christ by John Kempis

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM! GOD 💝

During my prayer time I heard very clear TELL THEM I LOVE THEM!  Everyday I had different ideas on how to tell you how much God loves you.  It was really good for me as well to see all the ways that God loves us.  I do not always see and feel loved by God, mostly because I am looking for a feeling of happiness and success.  Even though I know that love is not a feeling but a decision.  So what is love?  The scripture says;  Love is patient, kind, not envious, doesn’t boast, not proud, does not dishonor others, not self seeking, not angered, and keeps no record of wrongs.  Love never fails.  Love is listening.  Love walks beside you not behind or in front of you. How can we ever understand love until we truly understand that we are loved so unconditionally by God.  We must understand the extent that God goes to, by sending His only Son to live with us .  Jesus came to show us how much we are loved.  Jesus said, “I did not come for the righteous but for sinners.”  It is one thing for him to say, but another to live it.  He taught everyone by example.  When Jesus was in the garden he did not run away but prayed.  The angels came to strengthen him, yet he still cried tears of blood, from extreme mental anguish.  This was caused by our hardened hearts.  He still forgave us.  He was abandoned, betrayed and sorrowful even to death.  He was scourged, whipped, beaten, and unjustly condemned to death.  Then he was humiliated, mocked, crowned with thorns on his head, then struck in the head with reeds.  While the crowd yelled crucify him over and over again.  So they gave him a cross to carry for miles and Jesus fell three times.  So they made Simon Serene help him.  Veronica wiped his face and his love burned his image into the cloth as a sign of love for us.  While on the cross in extreme agony, He forgave us, and promised a prisoner paradise.  Jesus gave his mother to us before declaring it is finished.

What qualities that our God has shared with us, through giving us His Son Jesus to live out and show us how much they love us.  Gods plan to allow his son to be crucified for our sins.  If that was not enough for Jesus to be resurrected, conquer death and send the tongues of fire to bring us all salvation.  The fire of Gods love entered into the world to keep our lamps lit so we can see clearly. We receive Gods love through the Holy Spirit so we are able to give it to all.  What a generous God to fill us with His Spirit to save the world.

It is obvious that Gods ways are not ours ways.  The scripture helps us see the wisdom of God, but it is so hard to understand.  Scripture says God punishes those he loves.  It is hard for us to understand why God works so slow sometimes.  Many reach the end of their lives say, God protected them.  My father said this to me and I never forgot it.

It comes down to, are we superficial in our love or are we making decisions to open our hearts to receive the love,God has for us.  Say to God my heart is yours and I trust you complete.

I am grateful you love me.   Let us give up the fear and receive all the love God has for us.  It is a decision that will change your world. I don’t know about for you, but for me God is not silent.  He sends us subtle messages to encourage us.  We must be open to see and hear them in the word, on a bumper sticker,  in a sermon, from strangers or our family.  We must be ready to hear the truth and act on it. For me this is when I feel loved by God.  It is not easy sharing the message “Tell Them That I Love Them!  The fact that God is Love it boggles the mind.  Just the fact that He created us just the way we are, and knows us completely and loves us is comforting.  I know longer feel alone.  He is so patient with us, and never corrects us unless it is perfect timing to help us grow.  We take him for granted but He never leaves.  He is loyal even thought we are not.  When we confess our sins, He forgets them.  It says in scripture when we fail God turns our failures into good.  Everything God does is for our best interest. All God wants is our friendship and love.  Our God wants to be with us. The commandments He gave us was for our own good, to save us from heartache.

Are you looking for love? If so where are you looking? Seek no further because God’s love is right now, forever, and never ending for you!

I would like to share with you 5 truths about God’s love and how much you

are loved by the God of the universe. First Corinthinas 13:4-6 tells us “ Love ispatient,loveiskind.Itdoesnotenvy,itdoesnotboast,itisnotproud.” 4Loveis

patient,loveiskind.Itdoesnotenvy,itdoesnotboast,itisnotproud.5Itisnotrude,itis not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs.6 Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth.” Also, 1 Jon 4:18 says, ”there is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” So you see that Gods love is patient, kindness, drives out fear, keeps no accounts of wrongs, and is not angered! Wow, that is the love I am looking for?

Patience is what qualities God had with you and me when He sent Jesus Christ his son to be abandoned, scouraged, humiliated, betrayed and experience sorrow in His death on the cross. He did this so it would show us how much they love us. This was God’s plan. Love is not a feeling it is a choice. This concept is hard for us to understand because we do have feelings and our

feelings get hurt or we are offended by what others say or do to us. However, if we share our hurts with The Lord, He will help us in patience with ourselves and others. “T he Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent” 2 Peter 3:9.

Kindness, along with patience is the second truth. This is how Jesus treats us. Even when Jesus was being mocked, crownded with thorns on His head, and struck on His headwithreeds, andyelled,“crucifyHim!”overandover.Heneverlashedoutatthe

people. Under extreme anguish two people helped him with His cross, Simon Serene and Veronica. These two were examples of kindness and how kindness works is extreme circumstances. Simon helped with the physical carrying of the cross and Veronica wiped His face. Because of this Veronica’s cloth was burned with an image of Jesus as a sign of love for us.

The third truth is love drives out fear. The Scripture tells us that fear is torment. Again,

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love,” 1 John 4:18. I am so grateful that God’s love is not dependent on my past mistakes. Let us give up the fear that God wants to punish us. God is not silent He sends us subtle messages to encourage us. We must be open to see and hear them in the Word, in sermons, family, strangers, or even a bumper stickers. Let us give up the fear and receive all the love God has for us. It is a decision that will change your world. We must be ready to act on the Word by faith. “Tell them that I love them”, is the message we all need to share.

In the fourth truth, God keeps no accounts of wrong. Whew, I am so grateful for this! Scripture says, “as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us,” Psalm 103:12. It is obvious that God’s ways are not our ways. In his word,..” but he is waiting in mercy for you, not desiring

the destruction of any, but that all may be turned from their evil ways. ..” 2 Peter 3:9. It is hard for us to understand why God works so slow sometimes. My father said “All my life God protected me.” I have never forgotten this. We have the help we need when we ask and surrender. That is when the fire of God’s lovewillenterinthroughtheHolySpirit. WhenwereceiveGod’slovethroughtheHoly Spirit we are able to give it to all. What a generous God to fill us with His Spirit to be able to say, “tell them I love them!”

In addition to patience, kindness, no fear, not keeping accounts of wrongs, the fifth truth is, love is not easily angered. Psalm 86:15,”But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.” Our God wants to be withus.ThecommandmentsHegaveuswereforourowngood.Pslam7:11,“Godisa fair judge, a God who is angered by injustice every day. … God is a righteous judge, And He is not angry at all times. …”

Looking for love in all these 5 truths can lead you to know you are loved. Choose love today, make a choice to love. I hope you make a decision today to know the God and His son Jesus who made you and all the stars in the sky as well as every sand on the seashore. Choose to love someone on purpose today and do not forget to love yourself as God does. 💗
