Until God ordains otherwise, a man ought to bear patiently whatever he cannot correct in himself and in others. Imitation of Christ by John Kempis

Guard my heart and keep it pure, lord. Give me grace to put a light on the truth. Open my eyes to see the condition of my heart. Touch my heart with compassion and understanding. Clean my heart with the blood of Jesus. When my heart is broken help me to forgive completely. Every issue of life stems from my heart being healthy. Keep my heart safe by forgiving quickly, loving unconditionally, serving generously, clinging to happiness, always being positive, thinking only good, expecting good and praising God in all things. Sacred Heart of Jesus we trust in you. J.C.

For the last 2 months all I have seen is the word” heart” expressed in different ways:

I wrote recently in http://www.woundedinourmidst.com about hardened hearts.

This past week I shared pictures and the prayer above that I felt inspired to write.

I went to church yesterday and a new song, titled , “In The Silence”, we sang during communion. The first verse said; “In the silence of the heart You speak and your mercy is in the air I breathe. You come to me in whispers, and forgiveness sings. In the silence of the heart you speak.” This song for communion deeply touched me.

In another song at mass the same day we sang , “Bless the Lord” , the words, “You’re rich in love and you’re slow to anger, your name is great and your heart is kind, for all your goodness I will keep on singing, Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find”, and then in the chorus, ” Bless the Lord O my soul, worship His holy name, Sing like never before, O my soul I’ll worship your holy name.”

A week ago we sang, Open the eyes of my heart Lord, which is one of my favorites.

The church I attend is Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown Tampa.

We pledge Our Allegiance, by crossing our hearts.

We remember things by heart.

I have just read that Gods Grace brings light to our hearts.

Saw this picture during this time of seeing heart

One of the devotionals that I shared on Facebook last week was from Proverbs 31 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Supreme wisdom is given to us from the book of Proverbs.

The heart is the central organ of the human body and it carries blood to the other organs of the body. it beats one hundred thousand times daily. The first heart cell starts to beat as early as four weeks old in an embryo. You have a responsibility to keep your heart healthy because every issue in life stems from there. Happiness, emotional vitality, and reducing stress are paramount for keeping your heart attentive and safe. Keep it safe by forgiving quickly, loving unconditionally, serving others, being happy, thinking positive thoughts, and expecting good things to happen in life. The Cathechism of the Catholic Church says forgiveness transfigures the disciple by configuring us to the Master:It is there, in fact, “in the depths of the heart,” that everything is bound and loosed. It is not in our power not to feel or to forget an offense; but the heart that offers itself to the Holy

Spirit turns injury into compassion and purifies the memory in transforming the hurt into intercession. ”

My son has an Apple watch and it alerts him to his hearts performance . It encourages him to exercise more and tells him when he has reached his goal by his heart rate. Some of the signs given off by his watch have prompted him to have a stress test, which he is scheduled to have in a week or two.

I am not clear why all I am hearing is the word heart, but it is definately encouraging me to guard my heart by staying positive and forgiving quickly. All of the messages above caused me to write and share my experience on this journey. I am grateful that the Holy Spirit has sent all the messages to me so clearly. I know that praying plays a part in being able to discern the message. I have found that just listening and opening my heart to God before praying has healed my broken heart. I am not responding in a negative way to those who choose to hurt me. It is wonderful. My heart is open to God and guarded to those who do not like me. I can love them but not become their victim. Connecting to God, who is Love , strengthens me. The knowing and feeling that God loves me, is all that I need. It helps me to love unconditionally. I feel that my heart is tranformed. My heart is the window to my soul and I know that I have a really clean heart. Only God can do that!!!!!

I thought that all the messages to me on heart were finished, but it continues.

So remember that the word H EAR T has the word ear in it ,so Listen carefully to God’s still and small voice in your heart.

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart” Helen Keller

” Our hearts were made for you and they are restless until they rest in you.” St. Augustine of Hippo

Mothers day is coming and we must not forget our Mother Mary, whose Heart surrendered to us all unconditionally, to birth Jesus in the world for us. On Mothers day, also remember that our Mother’s heart purely loved us, to the best of her ability. The decision we all must come to, is that our mothers heart beat for us for 9 months and we were one. We were connected to them physically, emotionally and were taught by them spiritually. So compassion is our guide, when we are tempted to judge them in anyway. Remember that understanding is a gift of the Holy Spirit to ask God for when dealing with our Mothers. One thing that I believe, that every decision our Mothers made were for our best interest. No on can explain a mothers heart for her children. . Mother Mary’s heart beats for us eternally, and she prays for us, especially when our Mothers were unable.

1 JN 3:18-24

“Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth. Now this is how we shall know that we belong to the truth and reassure our hearts before him in whatever our hearts condemn, for God is greater than our hearts and knows everything. Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence in God and receive from him whatever we ask, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. And his commandment is this: We should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another just as he commanded us. Those who keep his commandments remain in him, and he in them, and the way we know that he remains in us is from the Spirit he gave us.”

I know that God’s love for us guides us in all these messages on HEARTS, may the Sacred Heart of Jesus inspire us all to have a clean heart.

2 Thessalonians 3: 5 ” May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and the endurance of Christ.”

Dear Jesus, bless our hearts, Grant that the place where Christ abides in us with the Father and the Spirit may become the place where we live with the Holy Trinity in friendship. Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him'” John 14:23
